At Fowl Behavior Retrievers, we have taken something which started as a passion and turned it into a phenomenal breeding program. We breed our animals to have friendly dispositions that fit in seamlessly as incredible family pets with champion drives.
We are located in West Georgia where we live together with our animals. We breed responsibly ensuring healthy, sound, and driven Labrador Retrievers making us your go-to address to find your new best friend. Whether your passion includes Hunting, Dock Diving or a game of fetch our dogs have the genetics to make you proud.
Our Puppies

All of our dogs are OFA Certified and Embark CLEAR of genetic disease carriers meaning your puppy has the best chance at living a happy healthy life. We breed for performance genetics with a coveted off switch allowing your new puppy plenty of work in the field as well as cuddles on the couch.

Breeding Practices
Standards to only Breed the Best
As a responsible Pet Breeder the standards we have set for our breeding dogs is high. We breed for health, temperament, and workability. Color of the dog isn't of interest to us. We are looking for the best qualities in the best dog. We do not breed any dog until it has had Genetic Testing and passed OFA Prelims at a minimum. As you will see some of our dogs are still younger in age, this is because we purchase many of our puppies at 8 weeks old. We spend the time growing, molding, and shaping our puppies into the dogs that we want them to be.

What does this mean for you? It means that we have done extensive health testing with your Labrador's parents to give you the best start possible. It means that we have vetted the personality, temperament, and disposition of the parent(s) to see what qualities they will pass on to your new family member.
All our animals are stunning in their own ways, and our gorgeous girls are no exception. The girls of FBR are clear of all Genetic Diseases and OFA Certified. Riot is a 55lb female with one of the sweetest dispositions. But do not let her smaller size fool you, she is the fastest most athletic Labrador we have in our pack. Riot is the puppy of HRCH RGD Rushmores HellOn Wheels & 2x GMPR CPR APR MPR HRCH Advantage of Hershey SH.

When it comes to genetics this little cannon ball has the ability to do it all waterfowl, pheasants, dock diving and more. Currently she holds AKC Dock Junior Title and AKC Dock Senior Title.
When she is not actively working her favorite pastimes are frisbee and snuggling with us on the couch.

Ember is a 65lb female with a brown coat so dark she almost looks black. Ember is the type of Labrador that always wants a bumper in her mouth. Her desire to fetch was easy to see at a young age and it has only become stronger as she ages.

Training
It's Our Job to Show Them What We Want
Dogs are not born trained. I repeat DOGS ARE NOT BORN TRAINED. You know your friend who has the sweetest dog ever that never jumps on you? That isn't instinct that is training. Instinct is your new Labrador running around your home with your shoe or favorite sunglasses. We must train them to be the dogs we want them to be.

Your puppy has been brought up with Puppy Culture while still with us. We fully believe that Puppy Culture is the right way to get your pup ready for the world.

Not all of us are born Dog Trainers but we all have the ability to search for help. For General Obedience the official Dog Trainer for FBR is Sit Means Sit Dog Training. This is a Nationwide Training Company that uses balanced training methods to teach you and your dog how to communicate with each other.
